Overview

The Sensory Mood Lights are strong, hollow polyethylene structures that emit a soft, mood-inducing glow - creating a tranquil atmosphere in both individual and group settings.

Lightweight and easy to move, they are practical for indoor or outdoor use and are simple to clean. Ideal for sensory dens, bedrooms, therapy rooms, or shared learning areas.

Features and settings

  • Choose from 16 fixed LED colours via remote control or set the Mood Light to smoothly fade through the full spectrum - from cool ultraviolet to warm red. The glow radiates evenly across the device's surface.
  • Features an A+ energy rating, IP65 water resistance, and includes a universal power adapter compatible with UK, EU, US, and AU sockets.
  • An 8-hour charging cycle powers the Mood Lights for approximately 5-10 hours, depending on the lighting mode chosen.

Setup and use

Sensory Mood shapes are designed to be used as stand-alone items and should not be plugged in during use.

The following guidelines should help:

  • Always charge the unit with the light turned off
  • If the light turns on when you start charging, use the remote or the button in the base to turn it off. If it doesn't power off, wait until the batery runs down and then place on charge.
  • After charging, always unplug the charger and use the Sensory Mood Light as a stand-alone item. If the unit is switched ON while charging, the power supply will act as a power source only and will not charge the battery.
  • Try not to run the battery too low during use, if it starts to flash then “turn off” immediately and place on charge. If it won’t turn off, wait until it runs down and then place on charge.

If the light flashes uncontrollably before charging
and you are unable to control either by using the remote or the button in the base, this is a symptom of very low battery voltage. In this case you will be unable to operate the unit until you have completed the following cycle:

  • unplug the charger from the light
  • wait several minutes for the light to flash until it turns off automatically
  • place the unit on charge

If the light comes on, then turn off using the remote or the button in the base. After fully charging you should regain full control of the light.
