Yes, there is an internal switch inside the pillow that is disconnected by the manufacturer to prevent accidental ed activation. To reinstate the internal switch, first remove the vibration module from the pillow. Once removed, you should see the connection you need to restore:

Once the connection is restored, place the vibration module back into the pillow. Pressing, or sitting on the pillow should now cause the module to vibrate.
