Which Simple Switch Box do I have?

There have been two versions of the Simple Switch Box:

  • 1st Generation - this was discontinued in 2014 as it was not compatible with 64-bit versions of WIndows. It looked similar to the product shown above, but the cable was hard-wired into the case.

  • 2nd Generation (pictured above) - the current version is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows and includes a detachable USB cable.

Do i need to install a driver?

No - the Simple Switch Box does not require a specific driver. It uses a generic Windows keyboard driver (essentially identifying as a keyboard with only two keys - space and enter).
