Overview
The AMAneo MX sits between your input devices (switches, sensors, mice, keyboards), and the device you want to control (computer, tablet, phone, or console). Using profiles, you decide what each switch press (or other input) does - for example:
- left mouse click
- key presses (Enter, Space, arrows)
- gamepad buttons
- scrolling or movement
Who's it for?

Before you start
- Make sure the device is fully charged
- Decide what you want to control (computer, tablet, phone, console)
- Decide which inputs you’ll use (switches, mouse, keyboard)
- Place the device on a stable surface
- Do not open or modify the device
- Keep at least 15 cm away from implanted medical devices
- Not suitable for unsupervised use by young children
- Do not use in very hot, cold, wet, or damp environments
Controls, ports, and indicators

- USB ports for HID devices, e.g. mouse or keyboard
- Bluetooth® (BLE) interfaces, 1× input, 1× output
- USB port for PC, notebook, tablet, charger
- 8 × 3.5 mm mono jack sockets
- On/Off, OK for menu control
- Adjustment for menu up/down and functions, e.g. +/−

Setting up (step-by-step)
- Connect the USB‑C cable to the AMAneo MX
- Plug the other end into a computer or mains USB charger
- Charge for around 1-2 hours before first use
2. Switch on the device
- Briefly press the OK / power button
- You’ll hear a beep and the screen will turn on
- Press and hold the power button for at least 5 seconds
- Release when the progress bar completes
3. Select language
- Use the up/down buttons to choose a language
- Press OK to confirm
4. Select a profile set
On first use, you must choose a profile set.
- Use the arrow buttons to scroll
- Press OK to confirm
5. Connect to a computer, tablet, or phone
You can connect in two ways:
USB- Connect the USB‑C cable to AMAneo MX
- Connect the other end to the device
- Open Bluetooth settings on the computer/tablet/phone
- Select AMAneo MX from the list
- No extra settings are required on the AMAneo MX
6. Connect input devices
You can connect:
- Switches into sockets S1–S8
- USB mouse or keyboard into the USB‑A ports
- Bluetooth mouse or keyboard via the menu
- Hold OK for 2 seconds to open the menu
- Select Bluetooth
- Choose Mouse or Keyboard
- Follow the on‑screen instructions

- Anti‑Tremor - filters unwanted movement
- Switch Mouse - control cursor movement and clicks with switches
- Audio Player - media control
- SwitchBox - keyboard-style access
- HeadMouse - works alongside head tracking
- Gaming profiles - for Xbox or Windows games (with required adapters)

Adjustments and options
Press and hold OK for 2 seconds to open the menu.
From here you can:- change profile sets
- pair Bluetooth devices
- change language
- perform a factory reset
Custom profiles (advanced)
You can create or edit profile sets using the AMAneo MX Configuration Software on Windows.
This allows you to:- assign different actions to each switch
- choose keyboard, mouse, or gamepad behaviour
- save custom setups to the device

- Xbox always requires a Microsoft Adaptive Controller between AMAneo MX and the console

Troubleshooting
