Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How are the five levels typically used?

Levels help organise messages by function—for example: Level 1 for greetings, Level 2 for choice-making, Level 3 for songs, etc. Each level saves its own recording set and can be tied to a default mode.

Q: Are external switches required?

No - for modes like Single, Random, Sequence, and Random No Repeats you only need the built-in switch. External switch access enables Choice, Prompt, Converse, and Q&A modes.

Q: Can I control toys or appliances with it?

Yes - plug in devices via the output socket using simple wiring or pair wirelessly with compatible SimplyWorks controllers or iClick.

Q: Is it rechargeable?

Yes - it uses a built-in lithium battery. You can operate the device while it’s charging via the USB cable.
