Overview

The iTalk2 with Levels provides an individual with two side-by-side communication choices. Press either the red or yellow switch to play the desired message.


The iTalk2 includes clear snap covers, allowing you to to attach picture symbols and provide communication context to the user.


Common Uses
  • Use for 'yes' and 'no' responses
  • Choose between two options of food or drink
  • Provide a way to make two unique requests like 'I need help' and 'I'm done'




Mounting the iTalk2 with Levels

The iTalk2 with Levels requires the REHAdapt Rectangular Mounting Plate and is compatible with the REHAdapt Mounting Arms.

These arms include a Super Clamp.




Battery Advice:

Please use disposable alkaline batteries in your Ablenet communication aids.

A new PP3 battery provides approximately 9 volts, which decreases over time. When the output drops to 6.8v the device will start to misbehave.


The symptoms of a failing battery include:


  • Record light flashing yellow when the top switch is pressed (with no sound output)
  • Messages cutting out part way through playback


The device will continue to behave in this way until the voltage drops below 6v (at which point it will shut down completely).
