Playing a message
Just press one of the message locations. The recorded message plays immediately.
Using Core Messages
The three core message locations stay the same across all five levels - ideal for repeated classroom phrases such as:
- “Yes”
- “Help please”
- “Finished”
These are recorded once and remain available no matter which level you select.
Using Levels
Levels allow you to create different sets of messages, such as:
- Level 1: morning routine
- Level 2: literacy activities
- Level 3: snack choices
- Level 4: story comments
- Level 5: home messages
To change level: press Level Selection until you see the correct Level Indicator.
Each level can hold nine messages (core messages stay the same on all levels).
Clearing messages
Clear all messages on the current level
- Select the level.
- Hold the Record button for 10 seconds until the device beeps.
- Only messages on that level are cleared (core messages remain).
Clear all messages on the whole device, including core messages
- Hold the Record button for 30 seconds.
- You’ll hear one beep series at 10 seconds - keep holding.
- A second beep series at 30 seconds confirms everything has been erased.
