1. Overview

Grid 3 by Smartbox is powerful communication and access software designed to help people with disabilities communicate, control their environment, and achieve greater independence. It provides a flexible platform for AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) through symbol-based grids, text communication, and computer control. Users can speak, write, browse the web, and even operate smart home devices using a range of access methods - including touchscreen, eye gaze, switch, and pointer control.

Grid 3 includes ready-made vocabularies like Alpha Core, Fast Talker, and Text Talker, catering to users of all ages and abilities. Fully customisable and easy to use, it can be personalised with photos, voices, and layouts to match individual needs, making Grid 3 one of the most versatile communication tools available today.
