Overview

The BIG Candy Corn 2 accessibility switch uses highly sensitive proximity sensor technology for activation. Anytime the user is near or touching the activation surface, the switch will activate.

Getting Started

Just wave your hand (or any other body part) within 10mm of the Big Candy Corn 2 to activate. The switch provides auditory and visual feedback when activated.

To use your BIG Candy Corn 2 switch, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that there are 2 AAA alkaline batteries in the device.
  2. Plug the switch plug into the switch jack on the accessory of your choice.
  3. Turn the switch over and turn the switch on.
  4. The switch will activate the accessory once the user is within 10mm of the switch top or touches the switch top.

Controlling Feedback (Audio/Visual)

BIG Candy Corn 2 offers the user visual feedback with three LED lights and auditory feedback with a beep when the switch is activated. Both of these features can be turned On and Off using the toggle switches located on the side of the BIG Candy Corn 2.


The toggle switch for auditory feedback has a speaker icon located next to it. Move the toggle switch to turn auditory feedback on or off.

The toggle switch for visual feedback has a light icon located next to it. Move the toggle switch to turn visual feedback on or off.



Mounting the Big Candy Corn Switch

The Big Candy Corn Switch requires the REHAdapt Rectangular Mounting Plate and is compatible with the REHAdapt Mounting Arms.

These arms include a Super Clamp.
