The ultra-sensitive, low-profile Pal Pad switch is designed for users with limited strength or fine motor control. Here you’ll find everything you need to set up, troubleshoot, and get the most out of your Pal Pad Switch.
The Pal Pad is a flat, pressure-activated membrane switch that responds to minimal force (approximately 35 g) from directly above or at a shallow angle. At just 0.1 in (3 mm) thick and available in multiple sizes and colours, it offers reliable, silent activation for communication aids, switch‑adapted devices, tablets, and computer interfaces via a standard 3.5 mm jack.
Key Features:

Silent operation - ideal where audible clicks may be distracting.
Ultra-thin and rigid - only 3 mm thick, durable and splash-resistant.
Compatible with any switch-accessible device using a standard 3.5 mm mono jack (right‑angle plug).
Sizes & Colours:
- Mini: 2″ × 2″ (≈ 50 × 50 mm)

Yes, when they are connected through a compatible switch interface (USB or Bluetooth switch-adaptation device), not directly into the iPad’s headphone jack.
Q: Does the switch come with mounting hardware?
The switch itself includes doesn't include mounting accessories, but for increased stability you may choose to add Velcro or Dycem non-slip mats as needed - these can be used to secure the switch to a desk, or a mounting arm (such as the Flexzi).
