Troubleshooting

Exiting the Inclusive Software

There are two ways to exit the software titles on your ClassMate laptop:

  • Press the Escape key on your keyboard to access the menu screen, select Quit from the menu (this will return you to the Desktop).
  • Swipe down the screen with two fingers. This will emulate the Escape key and return you to the menu screen. Select Quit from the menu to return to the Desktop.

If you don't exit the software via the menu, your screen resolution may not return to the native resolution (instead, staying in 800x600). If this happens:

  • Right-click in free space on the Desktop
  • Select Display Settings
  • Adjust the Display resolution to 1920x1080 (recommended)
Error messages when opening programs

When opening a program, be sure to give it chance to open fully before either trying again or opening a different title. It may take 3 or 4 seconds for the program to open. If a second instance is opened (or a different program entirely) before the first is closed, you are likely to see an error message.

If you need help with any of the individual software titles, you'll find a wealth of information on the respective Support Hub page. Simply start typing the name of the software title into the search bar at the top of the page and the page link will appear.
